Devils food cake with Beets!

Devils Food Cake

Grease 2-9'' pans. Or one bigger pan of your choice.

Cream:
1# brown sugar
4 oz. butter

Add:
3 lg. Eggs
Then:
3 oz. Chocolate, melted

Alternately add wet and dry ingredients to above mixture:
Wet:
1/2 c. Buttermilk

Dry ingredients: sifted(if you want to do it)
2 c. Flour
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/4 tsp. Salt

Last add pureed beets:
16 oz. Roasted or Boiled Beets-cooled and pureed until smooth

Fill greased pans and bake at 350 degrees until done 35-40 min.
