places to eat and hang out and dance, that I like

Dodo-SO so good. Little breakfast spot with really good french toast that you can get carmelized bananas on
---Just south of Augusta on Damen CLOSED!! shocking but true, no idea what happened there.

The Breakfast Club-Off Ogden and Hubbard---so so good, and cheap, it's on a side street and a little out of the way, but really a good place for a normal size omelette, and good hash browns.
water there is a good Brownie spot that I want to find

Hopleaf--in Andersonville--Really good Belgian beer--lots of choices in a not so snoootie part of town and the frites are really good! Plus an amazing veggie sandwich option--fig and cheese.., plus tons of good beers, for real! I also Like the greyeure and Ham sandwich with more frites!

Bite-good good food for dinner--fish n chips..mm. On Western next to the Empty Bottle

Sultans Market--super cheap and super good Falafel like you can get up on Kedzie, but in Wicker park, just off the blue line on Damen and then west down North Ave..a block or so on the south side of the street.

Empty Bottle--Free Monday music that is actually really good, and cheap PBR (1.25)for the whores while they last.

The Continental--on or about California and Grand/Chicago. Good small bar, but gets packed late at night.

Tumans-Leavitt/Chicago--O my God! Friday night has a really fun DJ that plays only fun dancing music..no kiddin! And the last Friday of the month, The Dark Room-Leavitt/Chicago across the street has an Idie/retro night of music..good for dancing also. This is so rare..normally it is crappy clubs with super high covers on Friday, but both these places have
no cover and a chill vibe.

Vella: on Western Ave under the Blue Line stop. Fantastic vegan and vegetarian choices, plus a good BYOV bloody mary option. Great food for meat eaters and a pretty adventureous menu to boot! I love that there is NO waitress, just counter service with a number, which makes breakfast sooo much nicer. OPen for dinner til 7, but I haven't been out for it yet, it sounds good and it is always a good cheap meal!

Healthy Food Lithuanian Restaurant-3236 S. Halsted Street, Bridgeport. 312-326-2724(call for hours!)Really good authentic Lithuanian food. Homemade beet soup..hot or cold. and good entrees as well. Off the beaten path for the downtown area for now, but it is a great area on Halsted. Stop by the Skylark while you are down there for a beer!

Alice and Friends Foods, a super fantasic vegan restaurant that so few people know about. Try everything. But there is no alcohol served or allowed in the restaurant. No need, the food is good, but the service can be a bit slow, so order a smoothie or a drink besides water to keep you occupied. 5812 N. Broadway 773-275-8797

Ina's : Fantasic Fried Chicken-Call ahead and pick it up on your way to someones house..312-226-8227 1235 West Randolph. Between Halsted and Ashland.
Good dining in too, super casual..no tv's and it is a diverse menu. Good breakfast and brunch! http://breakfastqueen.com/
